A Hearty Welcome to All..........
Hi all,I wish you a great time. To start with, I would introduce me for, this is only a personal website. I hail from Malappuram District in Kerala, one of the most beautiful piece of land in India.
I work as a Research Scholar in the Equatorial Geophysical Research Laboratory, Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, Tirunelveli, for my PhD degree from October-2011 onwards.
Earlier, I did my BSc. Physics from Government College, Malappuram affiliated to the University of Calicut. I would say this was the worst period in my academic life, regarding studies. Regarding extra-curricular activities, this was a very beautiful life and I enjoyed it well.
Then I joined in Jamal Mohamed College, Tiruchirappalli, affiliated to Bharathidasan University, for doing MSc. Physics course. There I did a short project on the Collision of KdV Solitons, under the supervision of Dr. R. Radhakrishnan. Dr. Radhakrishnan was a very peculiar type of personality. He never tolerated falsehood. He was a rebel in many respects. And that might be the reason I selected him as my guide. I had a a strong relation with him. Even after these years, whenever I contacted him and he welcomed me with pleasure. I still remember the day when, after the last hour class, we started talking and we didn't knew time passing behind. It was almost 10.00 O' clock in the night when we left the department. He was an encouraging teacher.
Afterwards I did a BEd course from Sullamussalam College of Teacher Education, Areacode, affiliated to the University of Calicut; where I lived one year with a number of ideal people. My teachers there, friends and the local people, all gave me a memorable period in my life.
Then I joined in the Department of Theoretical Physics, University of Madras, for MPhil course, where I did my project on the Phase transition in Jaynes-Cummings-Hubbard Model, under the supervision of Dr. Ranabir Chakrabarthi, a man whom I have never seen in the corners of gossips. He influenced me much through his demonstrated hard work. He was the first to enter the department and the last to leave, each day. Very rarely he appeared out of his room. He was always with a bunch of papers and different coloured pens. He motivated his students through his deeds rather than words.
Another great scholar I met in the university was Dr. V. Ravichandran, head of the department of Nuclear Physics. He was one of the most blessed teacher I have ever seen. He is the first to introduce me the beautiful subject - Condensed Matter Physics, which, I have never learned before. His explanations were in such a way that the concepts pierced into the brain and directly interacted with my thoughts leaving the imaginations free and spread the intellect wide. I desperately wished if I had such teachers from the time I started studying physics - as a subject.

Motive Behind This Site
_ When I decided to start this site, I actually
had a plan to provide several resources related to the subjects I am
interested in. But, now I fear that many of them may be copy-right
protected. So, I cannot do that up to the extend I had wished earlier.
You may see some links that would take you to various sites of interest. Most of them would be very popular, still I would prefer displaying them because someone could be benefited from that.
I want students in my circle to get motivated to take up career in research field, where people are working with peace of mind and earn a not-so-bad income to live. I encourage all of them to consider research field while selecting their career.
Please feel free to fill the feed back form. You can suggest me how to make this site more useful to the public, researchers or students. You can give beautiful ideas for making this site one which contribute to the welfare of the society.
